Operation Warrior Horse Fall Retreat

Operation Warrior Horse Retreat is meant to give our Veterans a sense of healing in order to jump start or enhance their therapy journey. Through group activities and individualized work, participants will leave the farm more prepared to handle civilian life than before they came. 

Participants will be on our farm for 24 hours interacting with licensed mental health professionals and our Animal Healers where they will gain a better awareness of their body and how their triggers affect their nervous system. They will also gain a better understanding of the ways they respond to their environment and the people in their lives. Attendees will then be able to learn strategies to calm their nervous system through working with animals engaging in a mindful capacity.
